Issues
Note*
Most Remote Web Access DVRs can only be viewed in an Internet Explorer Browser or
through the client software.
Systems are not compatible with Mac(Apple) yet.
IE 7
Configuration Instructions:
Open IE7, go to the MENU BAR, open TOOLS, INTERNET
OPTIONS, then go to SECURITY, CUSTOM SETTINGS, INTERNET,
CUSTOM LEVEL, DOWNLOAD UNSIGNED ACTIVE SCRIPT, OKAY, OKAY. Next
open the menu bar in IE. If you cannot see it then hit the
ALT key on the keyboard and it will drop down for you to access
or you can right click on the tool bar and check to show the
menu bar. Go to TOOLS, COMPATIBILITY VIEW SETTINGS & check
the box to DISPLAY ALL WEBSITES IN COMPATIBILITY MODE.
RESTART BROWSER & install the Active X Controller.

IE 8
Configuration Instructions:
ICRealtime Pictured Instructions Open IE8, go to the
menu
bar up top and select TOOLS & COMPATIBILITY VIEW
SETTINGS, select DISPLAY ALL WEBSITES IN COMPATIBILITY
VIEW. Now go to the
menu
bar again and select TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS
and add your domain or IP to the
Trusted Sites list. You can do this by going to the
MENU BAR at the top and selecting
Tools, Internet Options and then the
Security tab.
Go to the MENU BAR, open TOOLS, INTERNET
OPTIONS, then go to SECURITY, Zone is Internet, CUSTOM
LEVELS, ACTIVE X CONTROLS & PLUGINS, DOWNLOAD UNSIGNED ACTIVE
SCRIPT SET TO PROMPT, OKAY, OKAY, RESTART BROWSER. You will also need to go to the
advanced tab, which is under the
Internet Options as well, scroll to the bottom and
uncheck the ENABLE MEMORY PROTECTION TO MITIGATE ONLINE
ATTACKS. Now apply and close, open Internet Explorer,
type your domain or IP into the address bar and you will proceed
to install the Active X Controller the first time ( you
won't have to do this again unless you delete it ). Install and
restart your browser. Type in your IP or domain name again
and you will see the REMOTE WEB INTERFACE now. Log in
with your user name and password and Use the panels on the left
for viewing your cameras or the other options towards the
bottom.

Vista
Issues
When using Vista you may have some viewing issues.
1st, you may need to disable the
UAC under user accounts in the
CONTROL PANEL,
reboot.
To start, right click on Internet Explorer and RUN AS
ADMINISTRATOR. This only applies to Vista.
